1. What is Deaf Focus?
Deaf Focus is a Deaf-led organization operated by LAD, offering sign language interpreting as its primary service. Serves Deaf, DeafBlind, and hard of hearing individuals. Emphasizes culturally appropriate, accessible communication. Uses ASL as primary communication mode. Recommends 30+ days advance notice for certified interpreters. 2. How do you use the D in Deaf?
Lowercase "deaf" = medical/audiological; Uppercase "Deaf" = cultural identity, sign language primary. "d/Deaf" is most inclusive. Deafness viewed as membership to a linguistic/cultural minority, not disability.

- Assignments >1.25-1.5 hrs require two interpreters (rotate every 15-20 min)
