# LAD Website — Status & TODO

## Completed

- Forked from `ocd-website` template → new `lad-website` repo on Gitea
- Rebranded all OCD references to LAD throughout codebase
- Package upgrades: Next.js 15→16, React 19.2, Express 5, Mongoose 9, bcrypt 6, helmet 8, Zod 4, axios added
- Next.js 16 fixes: async params in route handler, removed `experimental.serverActions`, fixed broken import in VideoPlayer
- Brand color `#13AE3A` (green) applied throughout `globals.css` (all themes, gradients, shadows, CTA)
- Real LAD logo from Directus in nav bar; `db.lad1908.org` added to image remotePatterns
- Navigation: 9 items including Updates, Minutes, Deaf Focus
- Content scraped from lad1908.org + db.lad1908.org Directus API → saved in `LAD_CONTENT.md`
- All pages populated with real data (static arrays for now):
  - Homepage — announcement banner, real events
  - About — 2019–21 board, 10 affiliated orgs
  - Updates — 13 real updates (2014–2022)
  - Events — 12 real events, 2 featured
  - Minutes — public/members-only split with type badges
  - Deaf Focus — all 6 articles + Deaf Focus logo

### High Priority

- [ ] Run `npm run build` from `frontend/` — verify build passes cleanly
- [ ] **Contact page** — populate with real LAD info: request@deaffocus.org, (225) 319-5586, fax (225) 308-4025
- [ ] **Membership page** — flesh out with real membership tiers and signup process

### Medium Priority

- [ ] **Wire dynamic content** — Updates, Events, and Minutes are currently hardcoded arrays.
      Decision needed: pull live from Directus API (`https://db.lad1908.org`) or import into the local MongoDB backend?
- [ ] **Admin panel** — backend has an admin route; needs LAD-specific config and login credentials
- [ ] **Donate page** — nav link exists but no page behind it

### Lower Priority

- [ ] ASL/video content on Deaf Focus page (placeholder currently)
- [ ] Events calendar view (currently a card grid)
- [ ] Footer social links — Facebook is the main LAD channel
- [ ] Deploy to production server once build is verified
